Conservation work at Standen

Well done to all the students who got stuck in on Sunday and worked like machines cutting down trees, clearing away leaves, weaving willow and building an enormous bonfire.

What is CAS?

Not only is CAS a core component of the IB ethos, it also enables
Ardingly students to participate in and contribute to every aspect of
the extracurricular program of the College. A CAS student is a busy
student, building up a cv of activities that would make anyone dizzy.
Being able to read about and see what our students are up to makes
me more impressed with them every day. With a continual cycle of
planning, participation, and reflection, our CAS students develop in
all areas and are challenged to try activities they have never heard of
before starting their IB journey at Ardingly.
